Symphony Commerce has launched Symphony Pay, a fully integrated B2B payment gateway designed to support the real-world complexity of business-to-business commerce without compromise.
Crafted in partnership with Stripe, and backed by Symphony Commerce’s status as a Stripe Verified Partner, Symphony Pay delivers a fast, flexible, and secure payments experience embedded directly within the Symphony Commerce platform.
Symphony Pay enables B2B merchants to accept and process payments directly through their Symphony Commerce storefront, while managing transactions, payouts, and risk controls across both the Symphony and Stripe administrative environments. This approach provides merchants with flexibility and transparency, while avoiding the limitations of rigid, closed payment systems.
The solution supports a wide range of major payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Revolut Pay, and Link. Buy Now, Pay Later options such as Klarna, Clearpay, and Billie are also supported, giving B2B buyers greater flexibility at checkout.
In addition, Symphony Pay supports Stripe’s Pay by Bank, enabling UK and European customers to pay via instant bank-to-bank transfers rather than traditional card networks.
Designed specifically for B2B commerce, Symphony Pay supports deferred payment capture, account-based checkout flows, flexible settlement timing, and advanced payment controls. Where permitted by regional regulations, merchants can also recharge transaction fees on eligible B2B card payments, helping protect margins in high-volume trading environments.

Security and compliance are built in as standard. Symphony Pay meets global PCI compliance requirements, supports 3D Secure authentication, and includes fraud prevention powered by Stripe’s security intelligence.
“Payments are one of the most sensitive and operationally complex parts of the B2B customer journey,” said Hannah Spencer, Client Services Director at Symphony Commerce. “Symphony Pay gives our customers a payments layer that reflects how B2B businesses actually operate. It balances buyer convenience with the controls finance and operations teams need, without forcing merchants into inflexible or opaque systems.”
Symphony Pay integrates seamlessly across the wider Symphony Commerce suite, working alongside Fortis for smarter discounts, Tempus for real-time store orchestration, Conductor for workflow automation, and Nexus for white label storefronts. Together, these capabilities allow businesses to manage pricing, checkout, payments, and fulfillment as a connected commerce ecosystem.
Matt Smith, CEO of Symphony Commerce, added, “B2B businesses have been underserved by payment technology for too long. Symphony Pay reflects our belief that payments should be adaptable, transparent, and built to evolve. By crafting this capability in partnership with Stripe, we are giving merchants a payments foundation they can trust today and build on tomorrow.”
Symphony Pay is available now to new and existing Symphony Commerce customers.
